Missouri cottage food label requirements
Missouri removed its sales cap effective August 28, 2022, and requires no permit or registration. Labels must state that the product is home-produced and the production area is not inspected by the Missouri DHSS; online sales are allowed within Missouri only, but retail/wholesale resale is not permitted.
Required home-kitchen disclosure
“This product is home-produced and processed and the production area has not been inspected by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.”
This is a conservative disclosure based on your state's rule. Confirm the exact wording with your state before printing.
